By nominating Support Act you are supporting the future of Australian music industry.
Support Act is the Music Industry’s charity. They provide crisis relief to artists, crew and music workers across all genres who are unable to work due to illness, injury, a mental health issue or some other crisis, including the impact of COVID-19 on live music.
Support Act is also committed to promoting good mental health.
The Support Act Wellbeing Helpline is a free, confidential 24/7 counselling service that is available to anyone working in Australian music or the performing arts. It is supplemented by their Manager Support Hotline and First Nations Dedicated Helpline. All services can be accessed by calling 1800 959 500.
The Resources page on their website provides evidence-based information, articles, videos, plus app and book recommendations, specifically curated for those who work in music.
It is also where you can access their prevention, education and training programs including Mental Health First Aid, and their web series including Tune Ups, On My Mind and Soundcheck.
